Channel Islands Open Water Swim

On October 4-6, 2010, in Southern California, these four elite swimmers undertook the ultimate endurance challenge - four consecutive crossings of the Catalina Channel, each swimming his/her 22-mile leg solo - a feat that has never been attempted in the history of open water swimming anywhere in the world.
